Summer has arrived and the weather is nice so the residents of the Connelly Home have started to do some programming outdoors. Here is what the class has to say about it:
We had DT outside, we spent time outdoors in our wellness garden, McGee Park, and in the field behind the Connelly Home. We did some bowling, picked flowers, played bean bag toss, and did some gardening. "Gardening was my favorite part, I plant flowers at home with my Mom" said Sarah.

We put on sunscreen so we didn't get sunburned and drank plenty of water to stay hydrated. We took turns on an adaptive swing that we could roll our wheelchairs onto. Katie says "The swing was not too bad". Unfortunately, not every chair fit on the swing. "The swing was too crowded for my knees so it wasn't too relaxing" says Ernie.
